Our practice is based on treating you with the most advance fact based therapies available. Treatments include medications both allopathic and traditional, injections from cortisone to PRP, surgery from minor to reconstructive. We understand that not every pathology and patient are treated the same way and so we build a treatment plan that is designed for your foot and ankle pain and modify it as we progress.
Additional information of foot and ankle conditions can also be found at www.foothealthfacts.org sponsored by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS).
Achilles' Tendon and Heel Pain
Pain along the heel bone can come from the Achilles' tendon and the plantar fascia. Most heel and tendon conditions can be treated conservatively if seen within an acute period. If surgery is required we perform advance techniques (Topaz Coblation) to endoscopic surgery.
Sprains and Fractures
There are many ligament, tendon, and bones in the foot and ankle that can be treated with simple bracing to reconstructive surgery. The key to success is treating it sooner than later.
Bunions and Hammertoes
A bone mal-alignment deformity that can be flexible or rigid causing a bony prominence, pain, and possibly other deformities. The progressive condition can eventually cause problems wearing shoes and daily activities. We have techniques to surgically repair hammertoes without stitches and bunion surgery that has minimal pain and immediate weight bearing.
Neuroma and Metatarsalgia
Pain at the ball of the foot can be due to a nerve or the bone. Identifying the right condition helps resovle the pain and possible prevent further recurrence. Most of the time these conditions can be treated conservatively with specialized pads and orthotic inserts thus avoiding surgery.
Nail Problems
Nails can have many problems from ingrowns to fungal nail infection. Most should be evaluated and treated early to prevent further complications.
Calluses and Warts
Sometimes it is difficult to tell the two apart since they are both painful and have hardened skin. We can evaluate and provide treatment after the identifying the diagnosis.
